2024 DOWNTOWN HISTORIC                         DISTRICT LECTURE SERIES

Have you ever wondered walking in down town Eagle River, how old one of your favorite stores is? When was it built? What were some of the first businesses that used to occupy our historic store fronts? Well, the Eagle River Historical Society is excited to announce a new Lecture Series for this upcoming Fall and Winter covering just that!

All presentations will take place in historic downtown structures that have recently been added to the National Register as part of Eagle River's New Historic District Designation! As of now we are posting all the remaining October dates, but also November and December's as well. We will take a brief hiatus over the Holidays and resume in January going forward.

All of these lectures are free for the Public to attend and will last no more than a half hour, but it will give you a more intimate understanding of our Downtown's history with key insights from archival materials, oral histories, and historic artifacts. Stay tuned for any updates on Presentation Dates and if you are a downtown business owner with a historic structure please feel free to reach out!
