"CHOOSING GROWTH"

The Eagle River Historical Society has decided to "Choose Growth" and expand its current footprint at its Main Museum Campus just south of Eagle River Wisconsin. In the past two years it became apparent that we had out grown current museum space. To accommodate this progress, the Historical Society has embarked on a three year capital campaign to design and fund the construction of a new Heritage Center.


The New Heritage Center will serve the community by offering more space to accommodate existing and expanded programming and offer services that allow for the public to interact with the area's history, heritage, and culture through means of museum exhibition space and new research capabilities.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Since starting our Capital Campaign in 2022, The TAWANI Foundation has supported this plan with a generous grant and challenge match.  When the challenge portion of the plan is complete, the Society will have $900,000 in its fund for growth and development.

We ask all friends and members to support this effort generously.  All eligible gifts will be matched 1:1 by the TAWANI Foundation up to $300,000.

For the Community

At every step of designing the Heritage Center we have kept -YOU- at the focus in terms of engagement, use, and the future. This is not our museum, it the community's to use and learn about -YOUR- heritage.

Heritage Promotion

As one of the central philosophies of the new center, it will allow for us to offer more routine hours, extensive research capabilities, community space, and continued education of the area's history and heritage.

Artifact Preservation

Our new facilities will accommodate our existing and growing collection but also provide proper climate and moisture controls and the nessicary equipment to conserve and maintain our most cherished artifacts.

Income Producing

Our new center will allow us to not only hold more special events but allow us to host conferences, book meetings, and allow the public to reserve our conference room for whatever needs they see fit.
